Our Philosophy:

So I want to tell you how I like to do business. I'm one who believes that in a service industry like Dog Daycare the client is the most important gauge on how to conduct business. If you wish for a change or wish for an added service please let us know. Here is a bullet list of what we do now to service your needs:

  • We are open from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM M-F
  • We think you will agree that we are very competitive with our pricing.
  • We do not crate nap dogs in the afternoon. Why pay for your dog to sit in a crate? When they get tired they nap on their own.
  • All Breeds are welcome here. If they are friendly with people and dogs they are welcome.
  • No pads on the floor. This is a tricky one. Most people believe that pads are good. But after researching this issue we found most vets recommend against it because of bacteria and viral issues. It's safer not to have them.
  • There is always someone monitoring the dogs. Safety is incredibly important to us. Our dogs are in the yard too.

These are the basics of what we try to accomplish. We want your dog to come home tired and fulfilled as a pack animal. Even being around other dogs is an exercise and life lesson for your dog. If they don't play they still learn to be pack animals, which is very important for their well being. We have found that dogs that attend daycare tend to be less nervous around other dogs and people on walks and outings.

A little history:

The Bark Park was formed in 2003 by two friends who love dogs. We slowly built our business over a couple of years and then in 2005 one of us decided to go their own direction. At that point I became the sole owner.

I strive to make your dogs stay here the best it can be. We play, we rest, we drink (water) and we socialize. It's kind of a combination of a day-spa, fitness center, and social club. We are small, but that helps us be more attentive. (Think classroom size.)
